Youth Employability Initiative 2018/2019

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB) are inviting applications from community, voluntary and not for profit organisations in Kilkenny and Carlow to deliver a programme for young people aged 16-24 years who are not currently in employment, education or training, with a specific emphasis on 16-18 year olds.

The aim of the Initiative is to help young people develop their personal and social competencies and attain a level of confidence with the view to preparing them for onward progression in their employment lives and engagement in currently available programmes or services.

The Initiative will be funded by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs under Dormant Accounts Funding.
Applicants must demonstrate a track record of working with this target group.
