Learners have the right to appeal their results for QQI awards, should they not agree with the assessment judgement that has been made. KCETB Training Services centres currently manage their own appeals processes and for all other centres, KCETB advises learners of their right to appeal at the time of receiving their provisional results. This is managed centrally by an Adult Education Officer. Learners may have their assessment scripts reviewed by highly experienced appeals examiners who are independent of KCETB, and the primary authentication process. In the event that their appeal is upheld, KCETB informs QQI of the amended grade.
